Emmanuel Baptist believes in reaching our community and the world with the Gospel. Through grace giving we are privileged to be able to support over 50 missionaries with ministries here in the United States and around the world. Missions House
Our Missions House is a four bedroom apartment equipped with a common living and kitchen area, wash room facilities, private bathrooms, and central heat & air. Its purpose is to provide God’s servants who labor in East Texas a quiet and comfortable place to rest. We know that being on the road can be tiring so let us answer the question of “where to stay?”. Living Proof
Living Proof is a ministry out of Emmanuel Baptist Church. They started in 2000 with a song written for a printing ministry at the church and things took off from there. The common goal of Living Proof is to be a blessing to the churches they minister to and to give God all the glory and praise. Children’s Ministry
Serving children grades Pre K through 6th our Children’s Ministry purpose is to partner with parents in helping children realize the need for a personal relationship with Christ. It is our desire to encourage and guide our children in such a way that they are prepared for whatever God’s will is for their life. In addition to Sunday School classes we have a Children’s Church Sunday mornings during the main worship hour.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry serves young people grades 7th through 12th. Through Sunday School classes, preaching, special events, and small group interaction we desire to prepare our youth for God’s call and aid in helping Christ become magnified in their life. We seek to lead teens in becoming strong disciples of Christ, living out their faith in the world around them, and being prepared to make life decisions on their own.
Prison Ministry
The mission of our Prison Ministry is to bring the healing message of Jesus Christ to the incarcerated in the TDCJ Hodge & Skyview prison units and the Cherokee County Jail in Rusk, Texas. Our goal is to show them through preaching and one on one counseling that there is restoration in Jesus Christ and that, no matter what the circumstances, He is able to deliver.
